Sapphire Reserve $75k spend benefits
First World Problem: After having to await until 10/26 to get my JPMR benefits as a legacy cardholder, I was just informed I need to wait another two weeks for the >$75K spend benefits to become unlocked. Makes sense to make your high rollers wait?

Yeah, same boat for me. Im guessing its more about how their systems work than any attempt to be stingy. Southwest A-list status right now would be nice right now, but a couple of weeks from now works for me. Same for the $500 credit that will be good through 2026.

didnt realize there would be more waiting!
Also, am I correct that to use the Southwest credits, I must book via the Chase portal, and then they will be credited retroactively? Does anyone know which credit gets primacy (SW vs general $300 travel credit?).
I dont want to book SW thinking theyll apply the SW credit only to have used my general travel credit! Thanks

Sapphire Reserve $75k spend benefits
Has anyone gotten IHG Diamond to work yet once over $75k? It says "locked" for me

I've been using Apple Music at the gym and I still like Spotify better. Apple seems to only want to play groups that I've never heard of.

Which is particularly odd because the other two benefits that are triggered by the $75,000 annual spend threshold -- the $500 WN travel credit and WN A-List status -- indicate: "You met your spend goal! This benefit will unlock in your next statement cycle."

This locking of 75k threshold benefits is pretty annoying and, in my opinion, not communicated well by Chase in advance. I'm a very infrequent WN flyer but heading to a wedding in Chicago in a couple weeks. Perfect opportunity to fly WN and use the credit. Logged in yesterday assuming it would be active only to find out the credit won't be available until after I was going to fly. So now I'm going to pay a premium to book the tickets since I"m now just inside the 14 day window.
Zero empathy from Chase or acknowledgement that this wasn't sufficiently disclosed for those that exceeded the spend threshold well in advance of Oct 26. Ugh.

Same here, even though I'm well over the annual spend threshold.

The app presents this much better than the website.

You are correct. On the App, it indicates, for me: "You met your spend goal! Your additional benefits will unlock in your next statement cycle," which is followed by listing the locked benefits of IHG Diamond, WN A-List status, and the $500 WN credit.
To a point that belynch made earlier, it is unfortunate that Chase will apparently delay unlocking the $75,000+ annual spend benefits until the next statement cycle for those of us who already met the spend requirement as of our already-passed last billing cycle or even earlier in the year.

yeah I'm in the same boat - I have 75,000 spend last month and was hoping to use IHG status after October 26th. Instead, I will now wait another month (who begins new travel planning on Thanksgiving week?). I'm pretty sure they are going to lose a customer.

I wonder if Chase really thought this through and decided to play a silly game with likely most valuable customers (including investment accounts and interchange fees) or were the executives asleep at the wheel?

My IHG Diamond and WN A-List status activation unlocked today, which was a welcome development.
The upgrade to IHG Diamond occurred instantly, and IHG Diamond, in turn, is unlocking Hertz President's Circle status.
