Ticket Fare Type / Lounge Access when booked through OTA

Hi all, I'm eye-ing a business class OTA ticket for a QR flight which is codeshared with BA (SIN-DOH-LHR return) where the following applies.

- SIN-DOH has a BA number and is operated by QR.
- DOH-LHR-DOH flights are operated by BA and have a BA number
- DOH-SIN number has a QR number and is operated by QR.

Any guidance on whether I have al mourjan / al safwa lounge access in Doha with my QRPC Platinum membership on these ticket types?
Data point which I'm not sure is relevant, in the OTA flow (booking.com) it's giving me free seat selection on the QR flights and paid seat selection on BA (which I guess I can avoid by later selecting this with my OWE number on BA).
There's no way to see the full fare rules it seems or the fare class.
I'd usually avoid going through an OTA but the price difference is too much to ignore.

You only get Safwa access on QR metal. So the BA flight to LHR you would not get access. The flight to Singapore you should get access to Safwa. The remaining flights get Mourjan access in Doha. You should get QR premium lounge access in Singapore.

1. Wouldn't this require the ticket to be ticketed on QR stock?
2. How does the P class stuff play in when it is an OTA ticket and OP potentially having a P class ticket with regards to the premium lounge in SIN?

No. it doesnt; have flown on other stock (LATAM, WY) but as long as the flight is on QR metal you have access. P fare is allowed for QR Plat members only and gets you access to Safwa but not Mourjan lounge - this is applicable for QR stock tiks. If you are on BA tickets P fare gets you access to Mourjan lounge in Doha.

Thanks for raising this so I could follow and understand the rules as this will affect me on my return journey from SGN-DOH-LHR in a couple of weeks. Assuming QR do what they normally do which is strange but good when they award the avios and qpoints before departure, I would have been platinum exactly on the number on my journey home. However, my DOH-LHR leg is QR numbered but on BA metal so youve saved me some time and embarrassment trying to get into the AS lounge.

OK, I thoght it was QR ticket stock as well. But the premium lounge in SIN is that an OWE lounge as well? We just had a thread on BKK's premium lounge and P class access and that was firmly proven to be out of bounds for any type of P class.

Yep the premium lounge at SIN operates like the BKK lounge with no one in P allowed in. But at least at SIN the QF F lounge is an option for OWEs.

The OP never indicated if the ticket was QR stock just that it's a code share and that it's purchased on an OTA. If it's QR stock, a P ticket has no QR premium lounge access in BKK even for QR plat members.

Yes, that part we know.

What I was getting at: OP didn't mention ticket class, and if OP's ticket is P class then QR's lounge in SIN mihgt be out of bounds. But as also stated just above, in that case the QF lounges will do nicely.
