I see the $300 FHR/THC credit reset and have all of it available. Now i have to "make some new plans" .
AmEx really made the Christmas come early this time around. I was getting weary of the "coupon-book" but with these new credits - i'm practically drooling at the new coupon book now.

The inclusion of Youtube in the streaming credit was a nice surprise. That really changes the value of the sreaming credit for me as I already pay for youtube premium (i used to pay with my Ink card but now AmEx gets the "business") and for me just that in itself repays the increase in annual fee for me.

I am seriously worried about two things though
1. Can all these benefits be actually sustained by AmEx
2. Centurion lounges are now going to have longer lines than the airport food court

I would assume like with SAKS you can just get the restaurant gift card and then use when able, particularly for people needing to use in 12 days?

Correct, assuming you can find a restaurant that sells GC through an eligible POS. If you're really lucky you can find somewhere that sells GC online and lets you charge multiple times to load the same GC account

Ugh, I made a prepaid FHR booking on 16-Sept hoping I could double-dip, but the charge is still pending, so what are the odds the credit posts from the "old" $200 one and not the new $300 one. Probably very low.

As part of the refresh, it seems they also introduced some new Platinum specific Amex Offers. I found the following on my Plat Card - titled "Platinum Card Offer"

TUMI - Spend $300 or more, earn $60 back. Enroll by 10/2/25.
Canada Goose - Spend $800 or more, earn $160 back. Enroll by 10/2/25.
JetBlue- Spend $250 or more, earn 5,000 Membership Rewards points. Enroll by 9/30/25.
SkinCeuticals - Spend $200 or more, earn $50 back.
Breitling - Spend $2,500 or more, earn 50,000 Membership Rewards® points, up to 3 times

I was also skeptical of the refresh and was already on the fence about keeping this card, but honestly... the way the new benefits are, it's making me think "where's the catch?" I've been able to use $200 a year in FHN - I may not use the full 600 organically, but still, let's say I only use $300, then I do use $200 for airline every year, I will use the full streaming organically, which now brings it up to $800... and I will definitely use $400 RESY because I have a bunch of mid-tier and even one cheap bar on Resy available. So no problem on that front. So even without the use of all benefits, I am coming out ahead, and me and my SO love using the lounges when we travel (only a few times a year) so this is a great refresh for a light user. Still makes me wonder - where is the catch?!

Do you mean that a Saks gift card cannot be redeemed for a purchase at Saks.com?

I believe they mean you can't buy Saks egift card online to trigger the credit. Same as Lululemon egift card will not trigger the credit for Amex offers (or this new benefit) because it's via Cashstar. Both credits will be triggered with purchase of physical gift cards shipped to you but the minimum for that at Saks is $150 so nobody likes doing that.

Physical Saks gift cards that are shipped to your address DO work when purchased online, but the issue is that they now have a minimum denomination of $150.

No, that's not what I meant. I doubt purchasing gift cards through Lululemon will trigger the credit, similar to how the Saks credit works. For Saks, the credit only triggers when buying physical gift cards in-store, not through their website.

No I don't have any store anywhere in my vicinity so for me it's either using it to shop online or I actually give them as gifts to people who are big Lululemon fans.
