it shouldn't be this hard
Is there some way to look for an Economy but not Basic Economy fare a month a time? The United web site will show me Economy fares for a month at a time, but I cannot find a filter to exclude Basic Economy fares. When I choose a date, I can exclude Basic Economy fares, but as soon as I change the date, that filter is cleared. How could I search better? Thanks. (Same question for Google Flights; is there a switch to exclude Basic Economy fares?)

I have run into this twice now, so I would like to post it here to see whether any one has ideas why it is happening.
When booking an all-UA itin that costs more than my Travel Bank balance, online booking fails complaining about "issues processing your credit/debit card."
On the phone, UA agents can help finish it without issue. So there is no real issue with my credit card.
