Your A346 flight to HKG flies thru a few zones with GPS jamming/spoofing, hence the flynet system doesnt have a GPS reference to synch the antenna with the respective satellites.

Yes but not the case from Frankfurt to past Romania before they got a connection, at least they worked on it & were in contact with base to fix the issue.

Please be reasonable, the Intern is busy replacing the Heimat shambles, you cannot expect them to come out of the Kitchen & call Elon over something like that, LHG do have priorities

Considering the widespread anti Elon climate in Germany, I doubt Starlink will be an option for the near or medium future.

It says free messaging on LH longhaul begins for the summer 2025 season - anyone know what date they deem that to be?

With the current non-starlink offering in LH vs LX - specifically LH on A346 vs LX on A333 - which inflight internet is better in terms of being able to

1. Non-interrupted basic work i.e. company emails, file attachments, messaging
2. Streaming with Netflix, Hulu etc. to watch a show
3. Teams call/Zoom

I don’t think 3 is possible with both, but I do wonder any airlines out there whose offering can do any inflight Teams call/Zoom w/o interruptions?

1. usually works, 2. is a real stretch, I managed to watch Netflix shows using my ipad on an A380 in F last summer. 3. No way, you might be able to listen in, but the line is not stable enough for video and the background noise too high to be able to talk.

Except on one A330 that is currently flying around. Apparently not working for 2 weeks already.
