Well I finally tried the C suite but there were a number of teething problems.
The divider in the middle seats was stuck in the up position so unable to see my partner for the whole flight.
The tablet housing was already coming away from the suite wall.
Bluetooth pairing didn't work.
It is better than the old seat but it does feel like at this stage why did they bother and instead just bought off the shelf.

I was on LH722 MUC-PEK (D-AIXV) on Jan. 9 in one of the Business Suites. The seat is surely a huge upgrade over the old 2-2-2 configuration, but:
- The control tablet is as heavy as a brick and heats up a lot. Wasn't expecting this kind of technology in 2025!
- The seat control from the tablet is broken: The icons are greyed out and irresponsive, despite multiple efforts from the CC to "reset the seat". Luckily, the "physical" touch buttons on the other side is working.
- Bluetooth pairing is not working at all.
- Some of the CC is not trained well with the new seats: Some of them could not even identify the seat number!
Not very satisfied with these issues from a product that is already delayed by a lot...

I was on the same flight on January 9- PVG-MUC with the Allegris configuration. I was originally booked in 2A and then at check in I was switched to 5A. When I enquired, I was told that the seat was broken. While disembarking, I noticed that they had placed someone sick in seat 2A. Oh well.

Travel-Dealz recently published a review of the Allegris Middle Suite.
The author awards 4.33 out of 5 stars, which I think is far too generous given the multitude of technical issues described (which simply shouldnt be happening on a new product), as well as the obvious shortcomings he observes with regards to double occupancy.
Reading this just reinforced my perception that the middle suite is a terrible concept made worse by bad execution.

Note that the middle suite was not available for use and the reviewer sat in it anyway after getting permission from the captain.
Upon boarding, the electric seat adjustment for seat 1A unfortunately did not work. After consulting with the pilot, I was offered the middle suite, also known as the Suite Plus.
