flight for Easter 2025 canceled (Award). QR refuses to rebook me for the date I need

In May 2024, I booked a flight for Easter 2025 BKK-DOH-GVA with miles (award).
Recently, Qatar Airways (QR) canceled all flights from Doha to Geneva on April 30, 2025.
They refuse to rebook me on the next available flight on May 1, 2025, instead suggesting I shorten my trip.

Interestingly, the flight on May 1, 2025, is available for purchase, and I can book more than five seats on the Qatar Airways website or any OTA.

Expertflyer show :

Why are they denying me this rebooking? I tried reaching out through WhatsApp Gold support and a phone call, but it was useless.

What are the rules? The agent didn't want to share them with me and just said that on WhatsApp.

You would need award availability on the entire journey to be available. It's currently not available on the BKK-DOH segment.

It's QR who canceled the flight, if you need award availability, you can just forget to plan anything around one award flight.. It's make no sens.

QR is reponsible for that.

Yes if they cancel an award they usually accommodate you on the next flight or to and from an airport in the same country. There is no need for award availability. You should call back or contact another agent with experience or ask for their supervisor.

Completely agree, but that's the argument used by Qatar as I understand it.
