ContinentalFan nearly took me down as well
it took my highest UA flying year to eclipse his annual total to my lifetime total - I just cleared 700K lifetime after logging 135K+ this year on paid UA flights in 10+ months.
Bravo sir! I wish I had flown a few of these, but it was not at all convenient being ex-east coast. I did fly SJU-EWR once this year on a cheap AC business class fare.
Where are you based? Any irrops during the 24 days run?

I usually use those $20 repositioning flights on Frontier to get to LAX or SFO. As for IRROPS, I was somewhat protected because EWR-SJU and LAX-HNL were turnarounds, so I was always guaranteed a flight back. There was sufficient layover to get the next LAX-EWR or EWR-LAX. Only once did I have to sleep in SJU, but I took advantage of unlimited rebooking to add some LT miles (SJU-EWR-BOS-LAX) or take ORC if that wasn't an option. My tightest connection was making it from C110 to A15 in EWR in 13 mins.
From 2025, I'll be fully based out of PHX, and so far I've only found runs to BOS that hit my sub-4cpm threshold for BIS mileage runs.

with only 72 PQF, that's impossible to get nearly 500k miles. 500,000 / 72 is roughly 7k miles per flight average, so having 85%-90% of your flights being sub 3k miles doesn't make sense. Are you sure you got 500k bis this year?

Those were on N fares, so didn't count toward PQF. Actual segments were on the order of 250 I believe this year.

Somehow UA also allowed that roundtrip on one ticket without auto higher fare code remapping.
The seatback monitor connection guide showing the only connection for the EWR to PHX leg (late night arrival): PHX to EWR (redeye). I assume I was the only one making that "connection"

I like the chase of a million miles, and I've learnt so much about flying around, estimating connection times at lots of airports, and finding good fares, that I've become the go-to guy for IRROPS handling and fare search in the social circle. I probably wouldn't have friends if they knew I did MRs though, except the folks here on Flyertalk... ContinentalFan and I did a couple together lol
Found some cheap MR fares between EWR and PHX this year. One of my best cpm fares this year was 2.66 EWR-PHX-EWR immediate turnaround.

I hope next year you add SIN and DXB to the playlist. Theyre two great destinations for lifetime miles!

Again, I think that doing a couple RTW trips in 1 year is totally fine (and normal for avgeeks, but flying for the entire year straight for 'fun' in coach doesn't sound vert fun) I guess everyone is different.

Hats off to you, MM_someday. If I still had the constitution for long flights in Economy, by now I would have seen a lot more of this planet than I have.

As of today I have 17,407 PQP and 53 PQF, with 1 more flight on Monday earning 602 PQP and 1 PQF.
I might "accidentally" earn another 25 PQP via credit card.
