Surely this has to be sarcasm from BA?

Just messing around with a booking and for once I looked at all the details and saw this gem

I note that BA is not asserting that the highlighted phrase is actually a benefit.

The only reliable part of BA is its unreliability.

For all of us here it will be silly to say that but there are lots of people who are suitably reassured when theyre a long way away that when they see the red, white and blue turn up to take them home, it gives them a sort of reassuring feeling - Ive had many people describe that to me before!!

I must be the complete opposite. Every time I have a BA flight I'm waiting to see what goes wrong. Especially with the A380s.

yes but you wouldnt be an ordinary flyer just like most on here, most ordinary pax will have no idea about the issues BA face with A380s for example

Yes, I completely understand. Whatever gives people their peace and clarity I guess.

I always like sinking into my BA seat at the end of an intense week of meetings, knowing my meetings are all done and I am going home to my family.

Its been a long time since BA had any entitlement to leverage this emotive guff. Probably at least 15 years to me.

Im currently at SFO and saw a BA A380 earlier. More and more when seeing a BA tail overseas, I think thank god Im not on that!

The seat to sink into will be newer, more easily accessible, better maintained and with better food and drink, on almost any other airline in J.

I have flown 8 easyjet sectors in the last couple of weeks and all landed ontime (or early) - that would not happen with BA.

For some people the ‘reassuring’ bit is the knowledge that the aircraft has an open bar, especially when departing certain dry countries after having to work there for many weeks/months.

PS If you have ever been booked onto Saudia by corporate travel you will know what I mean!

The reliability and reassurance of flying Ryanair, knowing you will get exactly what you paid for...

Im just happy/fortunate that every take off Ive experienced led to a safe landing. Anything good in between is a bonus.

Did you mean to post this on the Ryanair board?
