AS mile tkt on IB unconfirmed??!?

AS mile tkt on IB unconfirmed??!?
Strange situation with AS Alaska Mile tkt for myself on IB inter Europe
AS says confirmed
Got email from IB 2pm day before switching me to another flight 12 hrs earlier (Nothing wrong with original flight)
IB says AS tkt they messed up…
AS clueless but says IB sent email at 1pm day before unconfirming me from original flight.
IB supervisor says they put me back on original flight but AS needs to issue tkt?
AS has no idea what to do.
IB keeps saying that it’s AS fault but why did IB try to switch me from original flight. None of the IB rec locators have any tkts or itineraries.
What to do? Flight today in 12 hours…

Calling IB back they basically admitted they involuntary bumped me and canceled my ticket completely this morning. .
The csr in USA said I should buy a ticket on the same flight and “request compensation” from the website?

Before all this happened, did you manage to access your original reservation with IB on their system (in manage booking, for example)? If so, did you see it confirmed? Or have you only been relying on the Alaska website to look at your booking?
What's the route? Is it an IB outstation you are departing from, or a Spanish airport? There are major weather disruptions in Spain today, so it could also be that it was a pre-emptive offload to accommodate other travellers?

Screen shot during check in of reaccombination not original itinerary plus email received yesterday of rerouting
AS claims they received a “telatex” from IB yesterday unconfirming award but before they it was confirmed
IB csr today USA number told me “airport” canceled entire tkt this morning so she thought it was involuntary denied boarding.
my friend is on same exact flight her tkt is fine

I don't know if it's technically IDB if the reservation was unconfirmed, as you technically need a confirmed reservation to be denied boarding. In any case, if they believe it is IDB, they owe you rebooking (or compensation for your ticket) on their part – not you booking the same flight yourself in the first instance.
I would be going to FCO and asking them for options especially if this is IDB, although as this is an outstation it may not be straightforward; I don't know what IB's presence is in Rome. If they tell you your ticket is simply unconfirmed and not in the system as confirmed, then it can't be IDB – in which case maybe this becomes an issue for AS since they ticketed you.

then this morning cancelation of entire tkt by IB
IB oversold flight by 12 pass according to FCO CSR
AS sent original tkt number and itinerary confirmed 4 days ago
