How stable is TK's longhaul schedule and what is their policy on schedule changes? I booked a flight which I sort of regret booking after I realised some implications of its timings. Ideally I'd like to rebook to a different flight one day earlier, just wondering whether to do it now, or wait and see if there's any schedule change to avoid the change fee. The flight is not until January.
How much would the schedule have to change for TK to allow rebooking to -1 day?

If you booked directly with TK , you should be able to rebook -7/+30 days with a schedule change of 15min or more. In the past even change of origin or destination within same zone was allowed, but that seems to have changed now. I would expect date change to be no issue. You should contact your local TK ticket office for rebooking (preferably by email).
If you booked with third party/OTA you are out luck as these in general will not rebook in case of schedule changes, unless the itinerary is messed up/impossible or MCT is no longer adhered to.

I'm hoping this doesn't repeat itself at IST when I fly back on Friday, but I'm not confident.

Usually on IST-GYD flights, as passengers have a lot of duty-free bags with them.

Hi FTers,
Two quick questions, if I may: if my first ever flight as a Miles&Smiles member (earning 27000 miles) occurs in October 2024, but I hit 40,000 miles with a second flight in Aug 2025,
1. how long will my Elite status last starting from Aug 2025; and
2. when will my renewal period begin and end?
Thank you!

Hi,
I had 1 ticket purchased when M&S 3x Miles for all Business Class promotion was on (around mid feb-mid march).
Now I got only miles of the outbound flight accredited.
Could this be as it was a multicity itinerary (FCO-IST-UBN; UBN-IST-BRE)?
thank you.

What do you mean? Reimbursement of expenses incurred? - or compensation (for the inconvenience but no actual loss incurred)? The first might be possible if you have receipts etc (or even better seek reimbursement from you travel insurance). The latter: Forget it/this is not the way it works.

I made official inquiry, let's see. Many years ago, it worked.
