Recommendations for moderately priced hotel in Paris? (250-300 euros p/n)
These are some really nice looking hotels and it was fun reading through this thread....But can anyone recommend a decent, clean, good hotel but one that is not so expensive as all the ones above? Its for 1 night and I plan to be out walking, eating, walking , and more eating. Just want something close to the the Louve, Champs, Arc, etc but hoping to pay 250/300 euros max. Does this even exist? This is for next month so before the Olympics.

Good luck with that. We just returned from Paris yesterday and the room that I found after much searching was 190 Euros plus tax per night. It was smaller than the size of the bathroom of the suite we had in Waikiki in March, and didn't even have things like a coffee maker. It was near the Gares du Nord and Est, so about 20 min bus ride from Louvre but we walked to Montmartre. The rate posted at reception went up by about 5 Euros each day, so I expect will be even more hefty in a month for sure. You may want to consider travelling in late fall or early winter, or be prepared to pay a lot. Please let us know what you find.
I see some places in that general area that may work for 290-320. Will let you know if I find something good.

I suggest that you take a look at the various IHG properties in Paris, and see if any satisfies your price and location requirements. There are certainly some June dates when you can get the Crowne Plaza Republique or one of the Holiday Inns for no more than $300 USD.

I stayed at the Hotel Edgar and Achille in February. It's a bit quirky, but it's clean and has some character. It's in a quiet courtyard (actually made up of two buildings on adjacent sides of the square) and it looking at a few dates in June, is coming under $300 a night (seeing around $250 - $300 depending on room type).

For sure. I actually went with the Edgar & Achilles hotel recommended just above. At $230 it was hard to pass up and its the perfect location for where I like to be. However, every single hotel you suggested looks really nice. Most are a drop more than I would like to spend but a couple were doable. I have saved all of them to my list for Paris hotels and when I go back in Winter time I may stay at one of them.

For something a bit unique and well within your price range, you might consider the Kube Htel. Kube Paris 4* Boutique Hotel Paris 18 Official Website | Hotel 75018 (kubehotel-paris.com)

Overall very impressed. Room is small but it totally worked for me. Shower was hot and AC was cold (it was only 75 when I was there so not sure how it would hold up if it was 95).
Also the location is so great. Walk to the Louvre and pass a really cool area with stores & cafes on a cool street along the way. You can be in Le Marais in minutes. I even walked to the 11th no issue not too long of a walk.
For 230 Euros also I was very happy .
Thank you GregW for the great recommendation.
