Business class lounge at Heathrow Terminal 4

Hi,

Does anyone knows which lounge can MH business class passengers visit at Heathrow Terminal 4?
Just found out that check-in agents at LHR (and MH website) would advise Gulf Air Falcon Gold lounge. I thought Qatar Premium lounge is an option for business class passengers as both are OneWorld alliance partners?

You're free to use the QR lounges when departing on MH.

AND flying in business or first (like the OP). QR lounges are not open to status holders travelling in Economy.

True, usually the poorer cousin of a real lounge. A bit like SATS here in Singapore 😀

The QR lounges were not open to me when I was Gold travelling in Y on QR. Got pushed to a third party lounge.

While your experience is more relevant to the QR forum, where was this?

QRs Business and First / Premium lounges are only for J and F passengers. The Platinum and Gold / FF lounges give access to OW status holders.

They may or may not have both at the same airports, hence your being pushed, or it could have been an overcrowding issue.

In either case, for MH J & F, youd have access to a QR Business lounge at least. (I do not know if MHBus. Suites will get Al Safwa First Class Lounge access.) MH Y passengers with OWS/OWE should get access to the appropriate-level QR FF lounge, if any.

As per the posts up thread, that would be correct.

Gold travelling in Y does not get access to the QR lounges.

I know, you dont really count them, but QRs page does now seem to suggest there is a new FF lounge *at LHR T4*:

Heathrow Airport
Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Lounge
Location : Terminal 4 / Level 2 / After Security
Lounge Access Eligibility: Business and Higher/Gold and Higher
Paid access available: No
Single day access: No
Customer Holding [QR?] FFP Silver tier and Higher with their eligible guest / Customer Holding [OW?] FFP Sapphire and Higher with their eligible guest
If ukcobra was leaving from LHR (and not some other airport, still not yet clarified), the above would mean that they should have had access to this FF lounge.

That is correct, you get access to the frequent flyer lounge, not the business lounge 😀
I guess when UKCobra was travelling there was only the 3rd party lounge available and he was turned away from the business lounge.

This was indeed from LHR and was about 18 months ago, and have flown QATAR a few times and had the same issue.
I have a flight coming up on Sunday, and believe LHR lounge option is now Gulf Air ?

Again, this is something the QR forum would probably be able to help shed more light on, and you can also refer to the wiki at this thread to assess: Qatar Airways' lounges (outstation)

However, were you talking about MH Enrich Gold, QR PC Gold or BA EC Gold?

The QR website seems explicit on allowed access for QR Gold or higher, and also states Sapphireand higher is allowed with guest, which I expect means OWS/OWE.

[EDIT] This page from 2023 makes it clear OW FFs have access:
the Frequent Flyer lounge is open to Qatar Airways Privilege Club members, with access extending to Joint Business Partners like British Airways Executive Club members, and other oneworld Alliance loyalty members.

Does the QR Premium Lounge in LHR have snooze rooms (basically areas to sleep comfortably)? I have a long transit coming up...
