QR’s Business and First / Premium lounges are only for J and F passengers. The Platinum and Gold / FF lounges give access to OW status holders.
They may or may not have both at the same airports, hence your being pushed, or it could have been an overcrowding issue.
In either case, for MH J & F, you’d have access to a QR Business lounge at least. (I do not know if MHBus. Suites will get Al Safwa First Class Lounge access.) MH Y passengers with OWS/OWE should get access to the appropriate-level QR FF lounge, if any.
