Chase Sapphire Lounge BOS
So I just saw that this lounge had opened which is quite nice for me as I have a flight out of BOS soon and not flying OW where I have my status. Regardless it looks way nicer than the Admirals Club anyway.
So I just thought this might be a good thread to compile useful info about the lounge. Best food options. Best area to sit, etc...
I know it's only been open 10 days but has anyone been yet?

I visited this past weekend. I used my 1 free yearly entry through my PP via AMEX. Has that new feel to it. Quite large. Food options were OK but they had couple small Korean plates that were pretty bad. (some kind of chicken nuggets and a vegetable bowl. The bar area was popular and they had a craft beer area that was empty. They had showers and a massage chair. They also had a family/children room. Overall, it is a new lounge getting its feet wet. Late Saturday, it was about 60-70% full. It is better then the UC at the other end of terminal B. It was a novelty to me at this point. Does not make me want to get the CSR card just yet. They need to keep the overcrowding at bay and hurry to open up the other planned lounges. For now, I still think the Centurion lounges have a bit of an edge but they are getting competition.

I got the PP card from BOA premium elite card, which says I can bring in two guests to the lounge for free. I am going to visit Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge soon. But I read here that there is special rule for accessing the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge. i.e.Priority Pass members obtained from non-Chase Sapphire Reserve card are only eligible for one free visit to a Sapphire Lounge by The Club annually and the guest access is not free. Anyone know if this is true?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes, those are the rules for the Chase lounges.
Discussion here: BOS Sapphire Lounge opens May 16; one entry/year for non-Chase Priority Pass
It's also important to understand that every Priority Pass lounge sets its own guest policy. The Bank of America statement means only that they will pay for two guest, it does not create an entitlement to bring guests. As a practical matter most Priority Pass lounges will admit two (or more) guests, but there are exceptions.

There is some discussion of the HKG location here, but no specific confirmation that they are enforcing the rules as written: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chas...ng-2023-a.html

It's one Chase lounge visit per year, but inasmuch as there are only two Chase lounges open we do not yet have reports to verify if their software can recognize if you have already used your visit at another location.

My wild guess is that PP holders will be denied entry at the second lounge. A big part of the marketing here is to tempt those PP holders to get a Chase Sapphire card. If its done right, the second attempt should trigger a friendly sorry, but we would love to welcome you next time with a Chase Sapphire card. Would you like an application? We have a nice bonus offer right now.

Chase chose "The Club" to operate their lounges. The Club is owned by Collinson, who also owns Priority Pass. They have competing interests. Look at the awkward way that the Priority Pass website explains the access rules:
Selected programs? If Priority Pass were fully on board with this they would say "selected Chase credit cards". I agree that Chase has insisted on these rules to exclude competitors' cardholders from ongoing complimentary access, and hope to use it as a tool to sell credit cards, but I don't know that it will last after more locations open.
I also see that the Priority Pass entry for the Hong Kong location does not contain any of this language, which suggests the rule is not currently enforced there.
Members can access the lounge once per calendar year using an allocated visit entitlement (both inclusive and Pay As You Go) subject to availability. Additional visits over and above the 1 calendar year, and any guest visits, will be charged a preferential entry fee of US$75 per person, per visit, payable to the lounge.
Members on selected programmes are eligible for ongoing complimentary access.

This lounge is amazing -- excellent selection of food and drinks, and I even took a shower.
Note that you need to show your Priority Pass card (physical or virtual) -- and specifically the PP card attached to your Chase account. I had the Amex one in my Apple wallet, and that did not do the trick. Save yourself the grief and have your Chase-issued PP card at the ready.
(I had guests, so I couldn't rely on the Amex-issued PP card for the one-time entry.)

I actually lost my CSR-connected PP card. Are you sure my digital card connected to my CSR will work? I'm guessing the back end will confirm that I have a CSR?
