The previous thread is here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chas...20-2022-a.html
In April 2020 Chase criteria for approving BUSINESS card applications became more stringent. All Chase INK products are business cards. Chase also issues co-branded business cards for United Airlines (2 different biz cards), Southwest Airlines (2 different biz cards), Hyatt and IHG.
For general information about applying for Chase cards, including explanation of the unpublished 5/24 rule, please review the Wikipost of the PERSONAL card thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chas...ds-2023-a.html
Anyone can apply for a business card as a sole proprietor. If your business has a registered company name, which Chase can verify, you may use the name to apply. Otherwise, use your legal First and Last name as the business name. Do not add any extra words, do not use a made up name. If Chase cannot verify the name the application will fail.
Useful Chase telephone numbers
(888) 269-8690 - Business Credit Card Application Status Line, automated
(800) 453-9719 Business Credit Card Reconsideration Line with live rep
(800) 453-9719 Credit Reallocation Office (Business cards)
(888) 622-7547 Executive Offices
Twitter: @ChaseSupport
Note: The automated Status Line often shows no record of business card applications. This does NOT mean that there is a problem with your application. You will need to contact Chase to learn the status, or wait for Chase to contact you.
You can use a single Username on chase.com to manage both Business and Personal card accounts, but you will initially need to set them up separately, and then telephonically ask customer service to combine them by merging the Personal account into the Business account. It cannot be done the other way. Once personal account is merged to business account, if all business cards are closed while keeping one (or more) personal cards open, online access to all cards will terminate and a new personal (online) account will need to be created using a different username than previous personal account.
Update: It is possible now to link Business and Personal accounts online. First set them up separately, then log into the Business account and follow this click path: Icon at the top right that looks like a person -> Profile & Settings -> Account Settings -> Manage Linked Accounts. Then look for the "Link relationship" option for the personal accounts. For more information on linking accounts: How to link Chase personal and business accounts?

Yeah, I think I only add P2 as AU on the Chase ink Biz Pref as at the time that had something to do with the bonus, like if you added an AU that added 10K ultimate rewards, or something.
Anyway, applied for both myself and P2 last night. Both went pending, P2 got an approval email within 30 minutes and I was approved after a call from Chase to verify identity this AM. Both applications used 40K cross-referral links, so unless something goes haywire with that...should be a nice little 140K score each for the spend and $95. Will take it.

Nope, all the cards are under her name. No AU's. In general, Chase has been strict about 5/24. But I've read multiple recent reports of ppl applying when over 5/24 getting it, so we gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised as well. =)

was 3/24, and 3 other open Chase Biz Card (Ink Unlimited, and 2 Ink Cash's), and 2-3 open Chase Personal (Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex, and had just closed CSP the day of application to avoid annual fee - why I said 2-3).

I wanted to double check that I'm eligible for the Chase Ink Preferred bonus and also have question about referrals. TIA
1. I'm at 3/24 and have the Ink Cash and Ink UNL. Have had Ink Preferred twice before. Last time was 8/2019-8/2020 (received the bonus in 2019). I have a total of 7 Chase cards split between biz and personal. I think I'm clear but the offer terms do not comment on eligibility in any specific way. I'm worried there might be a 48 months since last bonus or something.
2. If P1 refers from Ink Unlimited, can I apply for a different Ink Preferred and P1 still get the referral bonus?
Edited to add: I just tried referring out from my own Ink UNL and it does allow new app for different Ink card.

Update: got auto approved with referral from P1. I hope there are no SUB issues, but I assume there will not be since haven't had this card since 2020. The only 48 month I've heard of with Chase is the Sapphire cards.

Well nevermind. I dug deeper into the Stored Cards area in the app and it says in FAQ that Visa business credit cards can only be entered manually into digital wallet. Personal/consumer ones can be added via app.
Original question: Is there any way to add a Chase Ink card to Apply Pay before the card arrives in the mail? I've found instructions online for adding "Chase cards" via the app but can't find the option in my app even though auto approved card # is already showing there. I don't even see the option for adding my existing/old Ink cards.

adding INK unlimited to ink preferred - trasnfer question
I currently have ink preferred - can I apply for the ink unlimited for the same business? if so, would that allow me to convert the cash back into UR points? Wasn't sure if I could do that with two ink cards vs the sapphire cards
cheers

There's no cash to convert. All Ink cards earn UR pts, even though the website says "cash" Apply away.

Yes you can apply for another Ink for the same business. As long as you have a UR Chase card (which the Chase Ink Preferred is), you can move points from the UNL to UR points.

Just got auto approved for the pref yesterday. Today got a preapproved mailer for the Ink Cash. Im so tempted to do both. But the mailer was sent before I applied for the pref. Thinking I need to wait.

I got the dreaded under review status. I called the number above and they said it's under review. Nothing that you can do right now, do I have any options? I already have an ink card and a Hyatt business. I wonder if that's the issue?

You might want to look at your Chase account now (and later) to see if the new card appears there. That often happens before the applicant (you) is informed. Good luck.

Mine has gone to under review in the past (I also have always had additional Chase biz cards). Sometimes I will get a usps letter or a phone call within a week from Chase. When I do, it has always been to verify address and identity. Other times, I get nothing but card appears in my online account within a few days. Id give it a week before being concerned.

Unlocked all bureaus.
Applied for CIP
Got the no info notice
Called went through the verification process
Verified business, verified income, checked state records, sent business license, etc...
Got the 2 week notice
Waited and kept checking
Got the 7 day notice
Called was told denied
Asked for reconsideration
Agreed to move c/l (had to go through a lot because all of my cards have to have a minimum of $5k (their rules))
Chase said that I had too much business credit that I was not using. $159k and only using about $8k.
Moved $5k from other CIP and opened account.
Transferred to more identity verification and approved.
It has been five days and card is not showing on dashboard, but I did get the email with the last four digits. I guess I should have asked for expedite.
