This thread is for discussion of so-called Chase Offers, which have the following characteristics:
  • They are visible in your Chase Online account and in the app.
  • They are targeted. You will not necessarily receive the same offer on a specific card type (or even any offer at all) compared to other holders of that card.
  • There may be multiple simultaneous variations of a given offer. Current offers for a specific merchant may vary in terms of discount level (e.g., 10% vs. 20%), expiration date, or maximum benefit. Pay close attention to the particulars of each offer.
  • You must register for (add) an offer in order to use it. (The Chase Offers FAQ states incorrectly that registration is not required.)
  • They run for short periods (typically less than 30 days), not for a full quarter.
  • They generally offer a percentage discount (up to a stated maximum) or, less commonly, a fixed rebate (for spending a stated minimum amount) on purchases from an individual merchant. They are typically not for spending in generic categories such as groceries, gas, etc., although these do show up on rare occasions.
  • They are typically for one-time use only. On rare occasions, however, a Chase Offer may apply to all purchases (up to a set maximum) made with the relevant card during the offer period.
  • Chase will occasionally extend an offer with no notice other a changed expiration date in the offer T&C. This does not allow for double-dipping: that is, you may not use a one-time offer during the added period if you already used it during the initial validity period.
  • Statement credits may take as long as to appear in your transactions.
    • You can adjust your profile settings to receive email notificationusually arriving within a few hoursafter youve made a qualifying purchase.

Has anyone found Chase Offers down today? I can't get them to show up on the app or website. Trying to figure out which cards I added the $5 off $10 restaurant offer too but can't find any way to bring it up.

Yes. Simply re-selected paper statements after the bonus posted. Not a peep from Chase.

Offers completely disappeared for me sometime this afternoon ET. Seeing nothing in my personal or business login; just came here to report it, so seeing your post makes me think its a temporary system issue.

Mine disappeared except that I can see them if I go into my Sapphire account on the website - from there I can pull up the Offers.
Otherwise, they're impossible to see.

Chase Offers disappeared on me earlier today, both from the app and the regular website. They are back now.

Has anyone successfully redeemed The Washington Post offer (mine was for 20% off, up to $34 discount)? If so, how long did it take.

Mine was on my CFU (also on my CSR), and my renewal was supposed to be Feb. 1, though was initially in pending on Jan. 31. Our subscription is directly through the Post, as required, though posted as 'TWPSUB3654627', so not sure if that is normal, and the display like that is causing issues. It is annual, so definitely above the $4 minimum spend required.

No 'offer used' email when the charge was first run (though I know those can be unreliable, but a similar, renewed subscription, YouTube TV, did generate that email in Dec.), and now, 8 days later, offer is still in 'added' tab and not in redeemed. Also expires in 13 days, and if I have to write in, would rather do it while the offer is still there, and once it expires I feel like it will be harder to get attention to it.

Do I need to wait longer for it to resolve, or should I just get in contact now? Is secure messaging the best way to do it?

In the category of being the DP I want to see...

The latest version of the Dunkin' Donuts offer did not have the language prohibiting app reloads. So I loaded $30 to try it. It's been over a month and no credit posted, no email on the offer either. So I guess it still doesn't work.

For us, 4 out of 6. Any idea if Starbucks counts as a restaurant? Historically, it's gotten 3x on the CSR as "food and drink," but I don't know if that's synonymous with restaurant for purposes of this promo.

Note that Chases food & drink category has sub-categories that do not code as dining, e.g., bakery. But if youre getting the dining multiplier on CFU, CSR, etc. at a given establishment, I think youll also get the $5 offer rebate.

Just wanted to share a data point. I have the restaurant offer on 4 of my credit cards and 2 Chase debit cards. www.365retailmarkets.com provides vending services for all of our company locations, providing premade sandwiches, deli items, chips, candy bars, drinks etc. You can pay at the time of purchase or load money onto an account. On Monday, I loaded $10.00 (the minimum amount) and saw that the offer was successfully redeemed on Friday. The credit should post shortly. Of course, vending companies have notoriously high markups, but there are times when I will treat myself, or even grab a sandwich to go. Knowing that I am essentially getting a 50% discount makes things more palatable, allows me to feel like I am getting a "deal", and puts spend on some sock-drawer cards, ensuring that they remain active.

The purchase coded as CATEGORY: FOOD & DRINK: MERCHANT TYPE: FAST FOOD,

I would think doing a Starbucks reload would also count, but the offer runs until the end of the month. Do a test load next week and see what happens. Depending on the results, you can reload the following week.

As an aside, to satisfy my own curiosity, if you've aver worked in a restaurant, have you ever had one customer settle a bill with multiple credit cards? I wouldn't do it any place fancy, or if they were extremely busy, but, depending on someone's personal financial circumstances, there may also be "legitimate" reasons for doing this.

I could definitely see someone asking for alcohol to be put on a separate card if it was prohibited as a business expense.

Of course, we're all points and miles enthusiasts, so I'm also looking for other options to utilize these credits with Super Bowl Sunday fast approaching...

For the $5 off $10 restaurants offer, does it work on Uber Eats?

Not according to the T&C: "Payment must be made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on third-party delivery services."
