Applied: 8/2/2022
CA: 8/5/2022
Interview: 8/5/22
Final Approval: 8/5/22

Got really lucky and managed to get an appointment at JFK same morning I had gotten my CA. Process was very straightforward and easy and was only asked to review questions that were on application. Have travelled to ME and South Asia multiple times in past 18 months and wasn't questioned on any other "exotic" countries.

Super happy for you! I've been waiting for over two months now to get my CA. Posts like this make me wish I could cancel and resubmit.

Haven't done a "first time" GE for a while. The website seems to suggestion one should return to check status. I seem to recall in the past, they'd send an email notification. Have they stopped this practice?

Once a CA is received, I know one must find an appointment. If one is re-entering the US, is one able to just "walk-in" without an appointment for the interview?

Anyways, I submitted both my parents (65+) yesterday. They have a very long list of countries visited in the past 5yrs so we'll see if that affects the timeline.

Please refer to the following thread:

Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival
The Enrollment on Arrival program eliminates the need for a Global Entry applicant to schedule an interview at an enrollment center to complete the application process.

When landing in an international terminal follow the signage directing you to CBP officers who can complete your Global Entry interview during your admissibility inspection.

My 4-month old son has been waiting 4 months for approval. What the heck?

Is there any way to get a GE rep on the phone? Someone above has multiple criminal records and a huge history and was approved in 3 months. My son, is 4 months and has been waiting longer than that individual and is STILL awaiting approval.

Just got off the phone with CBP because I applied 6 months ago and am still pending.

They said that processing times have now increased to 6-8 months (from 4-6 previously) and to call back if I'm not updated within 8 months.

if you call that number you will wait for atleast 45 mins and after that they will read the same information back to you what you see on the website....if you have time and want to feel good... call that number.

are you gonna call on 8/16 to inquire an update? I just saw on TTP page that to get GE wait time increased to 6-18months.

Applied two days ago for me, wife, and two kids. All are conditionally approved. Looking at JFK it shows no appointments... (I am looking into 2025). Is that normal? am I doing anything wrong?

Had the interview at SFO today. Overall pretty painless, they called me right on time and the officer was very courteous. I did get grilled a bit about a past arrest where the charges were dismissed. Luckily I had all the paperwork from the court ready and a letter from my attorney. They made copies of everything, took a photo and fingerprints, and thirty minutes later I received the approval email.

If you have any past charges/dismissals BRING PAPERWORK & PROOF. Without it I would have been denied most likely as their system doesn't always show the outcome of past issues.

Good luck to everyone, hang in there...

Well, my wife has officially passed the 6 month mark "Pending Review". I guess she is in the "6-18months" group. It's really quite ridiculous.
