C1 Venture X $200 Vacation Rental credit

Contrary to a previous data point, my TWA Hotel purchase from 2/5 still hasn't been credited for the $200 vacation rental credit.

C1 Venture X $200 Vacation Rental credit

Spouse's account with me as AU, she doesn't do phone calls so I had to call
$387 purchase through cap one travel on 1/10
Two VRBO purchases >$200, though VRBO splits into a VRBO charge and one that goes directly to the renter apparently, so in sum the two charges that were directly to VRBO were >$200 and the total cost much greater

Neither credit posted through 2 billing cycles closing, and talking with an agent required me to explain multiple times what the credits were that I was seeking. After a long time waiting/holding (total call 45 minutes including maybe 15 mins to make me an account manager), I was told that no manual process can be opened until two FULL billing cycles have passed after the one in which the charge happens. So 3 billing cycles have to close before they'll even initiate a process. She kept telling me that she was sure it would post within this next billing cycle, which in my experience with the way CC credits post, they're either automatic fairly quickly, automatic at statement closure, or require manual intervention. I'm not holding my breath, nor am I excited about wasting another half hour on the phone with them explaining the benefits of the card to a rep.

I am also waiting... since Feb 7. Oddly I made a travel portal booking the same day and got the $300 travel credit on Feb 11. Dunno.

Has something changed recently in how C1 is posting the credit?

My 25K referral bonus has also not posted, and I have been waiting almost a month! I had read about folks getting the bonus fairly quickly as well. Either C1 doesn't like me , or something seems to have changed on how C1 posts credit/bonus.
I'm in the exact same situation. Missing $200 VRBO credit from Feb 7 charge and referral to a NEW capital one customer on Feb 18... still waiting

C1 Venture X $200 Vacation Rental credit

Data Point.

I charged a small amount of my HOA fees thru C property pay via CIT bank. It took 30 days but I finally noticed a credit from the Vacation Rental Credit. Honestly I had given up hope. lol.

C1 Venture X $200 Vacation Rental credit

My wife and my 200 VRBO vacation credits appeared yesterday from a Feb. 5 charge. Only took 26 days and got the run around from Capital One on the phone. I would have thought that they would be an automatic thing but they insisted to wait 1-2 statement dates and they would post. I was adamant that they would require customer service intervention but they would not help until 2 statements later.

I figured that I would just have to wait it out 60-75 days and then escalate.

It could be automated -and- take weeks or months to post, The system may use batch processing or delay crediting for Capital One's own purposes. However, it would be nice if they showed the credits Pending, to reduce the customer service workload.

The interesting part is that capital one recognizes the charge as a travel purchase. Its one of the eligible travel charges I can pick online to redeem against as a statement credit.
Well I got a pleasant surprise this morning to see that I got the $200 rental credit yesterday (3/3/2022). I guess C1 has moved to a batch model for the $200 credit in the new year.

Was it coded by travel/lodging?

I've been reading about folks making Air BnB bookings in Ukraine to help the people there directly. (obviously not actually staying, however) Thinking about using our two $200 credits as well. Anybody else doing this?

I was thinking the exact same thing but have no idea which property to select. I wonder if a $200 donation to Airbnb.org site would trigger? It would be nice goodwill gesture for C1 to allow this. No skin off their back.
