Combining Revenue & Reward tickets on the same PNR

So, I might have some of the terminology off, but here's the scenario...

I'm SE, and I'd like to book some international J travel. I'd like to pay for my ticket, in J, and collect the associated aqm/aqd, but I'd also like to bring with three members of my (extended) family on the same trip, paid in points. Note that two of the three people are NOT my direct family as AC defines it.

Problems that come out of doing this:
1- IKK doesn't like it if the owner of the account isn't on the PNR. I'll be there, I just want to pay for my ticket. Is this possible?
2- I'd like to have all four people on the same PNR so we can manage seats together, and all of the other handy things when you have multiple people on the same PNR.
3- Do we get screwy benefits? Ie, signature suite is "revenue only", so does that mean they can't come? Should I just leave them behind? (Debatable, I know.)

The big problem here is actually in routing as well. I can find the associated I/R space (thanks ExpertFlyer), but now I have to do some other interesting hurdles to get the revenue ticket and reward tickets on the same routing, nevermind PNR.

In short... this seems like it would be something people want to do a lot. Why is it so difficult? I've done this before to bring my wife with on a business trip, but it's crazy annoying and I'm always concerned she's going to get aeroplan-rerouted-- and trying to do it with 3 freeloaders rather than one is going to be even worse.

Did this very thing on a booking a few weeks back, so here is my experience:

1 - Book your revenue ticket first and note the PNR. When you call in to book the IKK, they will ask for the revenue PNR to reference in the IKK booking. As long as you are on the same flight, it should be fine. Also they will cross reference both the PNRs so that if there is IRROPS, they know both bookings are traveling as a group.
2 - You have to do seat selection for the two bookings separately, with the two different PNRs.
3 - Yeah no access to SS for reward booking travellers

You cannot book a revenue and reward on the same file. What the other poster is talking about is cross-referencing the files. Not quite the same thing, but useful still.
