AA reservations "systems down" -- 9 July
Not sure how widespread it is, but I'm having problems interacting with reservations online and when I called the EXP desk just got a "our systems are down right now--we can't do anything". Hopefully not affecting flight operations as well.

AA.com troubles July 2018
Have been having difficulties booking on AA.com using Firefox. At various times during the booking process (usually after selecting flights...sometimes first flight of a pair, sometimes second) I get a blank screen. Talked to somebody at EXP reservations yesterday and he said they were aware of the problem. Has been going on for 3-4 days now.

I was having the same issues in Safari and Chrome. Did a reset / clear of all data and it has worked fine ever since.
Something strange on the AA.com site that gets stuck in the browser's cache that is causing this.

You just need to clear cookies for aa.com; this will be a bit less disruptive than resetting everything.

Anybody heard of possible changes to the layout of the flight search results?
I was looking at MIA-ATH flights for August and noticed a totally different look that was much easier to read with regards to all the connections, cabin choices and airfares.
But, after entering another search it never showed up again. Tried many times but no luck. Just the old tired format.
Was I hallucinating?

Surprisingly, I booked just fine thru the mobile app. Ended up calling in on the 11th to make a change and the agent said it had been a real fiasco that day.

For the past two days I've not been able to load seat maps for a couple flights I've been prospecting. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

If you clear your search history on advanced search page, that will clear up the 400 error
