I've been following this thread for a while, so I'll wade in with my GE experience so far:

Applied: 5/25 (midday)
Conditional approval: 6/14 (midnight)
Interview scheduled: 7/5 at JFK

JFK interviews seem to be booked into early August, so I guess I scored a cancellation slot. The Bowling Green site is booked until early October -- but I work one building over from the Customs House, so I might start showing up at different times to try and snag a walk-in interview.

I was extremely clean - it took me 21 days. I have seen babies take longer then adults. Don't count on being quicker because you have a clean record or have been at same job and residence for 10 years.

Some use plugins to help them getting earlier appointments. Many of us do it the old fashioned way by doing new searches every five minutes or so. With new slots open at many locations, even cancelation rate remains the same, more close in slots should become available if you are persistent.

Welcome to FT. If you are in front of a computer a lot, I strongly recommend you to do new searches frequently. You will be pleasantly surprised with a very close in slot. You will end up spending less time over all.

Wife and 2 kids applied 1pm 5/25. I've had mine for 6 months due to work travel. Kids conditionally accepted at 6:45 am 6/14. Wife still pending. Was able to get one kid's appointment at DFW on 7/18. Still searching for the other, but will bring them all in for the first spot I find just in case.

I'm getting a little bummed out on this :-(
Wife and I applied online on 4/14/16. Both got our conditional approvals on 4/22 and 4/23.

Set up interviews for 6/8 (her) and 6/10 me. She got her final approval notice the next day 6/9 but I've yet to hear anything.

Well - they are pretty quick at rejecting some people. There is hope. What happens when you login to the website? Does it say anything other then interview scheduled?

Conditional approval: 6/14 @ 3pm
Interview scheduled: 8/6 at JFK (but will keep looking around for an early date/time)

*** We leave for Peru on 8/24/16. So that date should be fine if nothing else comes up

Interview initially scheduled for 8/13. Used a script to check for cancelled appointments every five minutes. Managed to book an appointment the next day 6/12 at MCI. Received approval email before I even got back to my car.

Final Update:

New application.

Applied 10:30 CST 5/25

Conditionally approved at 18:00 CST 6/13

ORD appointment sought. Used automation scripts that took me about 6 hours to tune and perfect. They run every minute.

Initial appointment August 17th. Upgraded to August 5th. Upgraded to July 27th. Upgraded to June 24th. Upgraded to June 16th.

I doubt anything sooner than June 16th will manifest since that's only two days away, but still trying for something faster.

Scripts reduced the interview lead time from 90 days to 72 hours so I'm pleased.

I have not used any of the scripts but if you do an internet search you will find some sources.

For example:

https://github.com/davidofwatkins/ge...lation-checker

And an associated reddit discussion thread:

Unless you have the requisite technical background, I would be very careful with this.

I rescheduled for 6/12.
Interview took 10 ,minutes (letter,passport, DL, photo,fingerprints).
Most time consuming was to find the office and building security. It is not at the CBP offices, but in the middle of the Reagan building near the central stair.
