Only two more on my list that I am hoping for iOS 9 updates: Revelation (shows your passwords in clear-text) ASU Update Hider or Update Hider (allows you to hide AppStore updates that you don't want to update)

Pangu released Mac version http://en.pangu.io/
Works if you upgraded before latest 9.1

Anyone go to starbucks here? Looks like their mobile ordering doesn't work on jailbroken devices(they emailed me an offer, order something and get bonus stars) as it only works on my non jailbroken iphone 6.

Seems the jailbreaks really slowed down. Last jailbreak (unless I'm mistaken) was for 9.0.2. Nothing for 9.1 or 9.2 and now 9.3 is out. Hoping my 9.0.2 never irrecoverably crashes before a current jailbreak is available.

There was a 9.1 jailbreak released recently, but it was really only intended if you never upgraded past 9.1.

Sadly I doubt you'll ever see another public JB again since there are companies paying up to a million bucks for zero day exploits for iOS.

It was necessary to jailbreak devices in 2008. No need to do that anymore.

Was it ever "necessary"? No. Did it and does it add the ability to add apps that significantly improve usability? Of course.

I see nothing in 9.3 that makes me "need" it, but I am still very glad that in the short life of 9.0.2 I was able to jailbreak and can now use the iPhone in a much-improved way.

If Apple will allow Remote Messages (absolutely indispensable to me), Type Status, Upate Hider and the various apps that allow one to use the older versions of Facebook that don't force you into installing Messenger then I may consider not needing jailbreak anymore.

Until then...

??? I don't use Facebook Messenger and have never been forced to install it. If I want to message people on Facebook, I either wait until I'm at a computer or use Facebook on the mobile web.

By not updating your apps or OS, you significantly increase your exposure to security holes that have been otherwise patched - and that hackers are well aware of and looking for people like you to exploit.

What is Remote Messages?

Point taken. But if you want to message from within the app, you have to use an older version.

While theoretically true, the tradeoff is worth it for me.

Being able to text from my computer's keyboard is massively convenient and helpful. I don't know what I'd do without it. I don't have millennial thumbs. I'd jailbreak for this app alone.

ETA: This sounds promising http://taig9.com/beta1/

You don't know what you're missing....lots of good stuff.

Example: tweak that lets you downgrade to older version of app after you learn the upgrade stinks!
