Sitting in the merge the threads camp, it is just not an issue with me and it seems to make sense, especially reading Jackals post.
On another note, they served a mexican fiesta salad last night (LAX-SEA) and I actually quite enjoyed it! Good mix of dark greens, lots of tasty veggies: corn, black beans, red pepper too I think. Strips of corn tortilla, shredded cheese, and tomatoes topped it off. Best part for me is that it fits in with my healthier eating regime
Pour me another glass of red wine please

It's under 80 minutes in the air. How much food do you need?

Any idea if two meals will be served SEA-PVR, with a stop in SFO? We leave FTA at 7 AM. No connection, but more PX gets on in SFO.

29 July ONT-SEA 10:15 am departure
Supersized cheese and fruit plate which actually had a decent beecher's cheddar and a slightly ripe double cream. I could have done with a few dried apricots and walnuts, but an overall great option for those sub 1000 mile mid morning departures.

AS 457 LAX-SEA: Pasta with red sauce and arugula, two smallish pieces of chicken thigh, salad with raspberry vinagrette, small oatmeal cookie. Dinner flight.
Not exactly a sumptuous repast, but better than cookies...

I can see why this makes it's way (unfortunately) into AS salads, but I don't get the point of dumping it on top of pasta.

I was wondering if anyone knows what is being served for lunch on this flight in August. Have a flight coming up next Monday.
This will be my first time in Alaska first, I know not to expect too much, but I was wondering if they have pillows and blankets available and if they supply a tablet for movies.
Any other info would be appreciated.
Thanks

After watching "R" rated movies on a few recent flights, I'd add that the content is heavily edited for language and to some extent, adult themes. Lol.
