There was a Vogue photo shoot last week at Puri too , done mainly at a villa . They occupied about half the pavilions but were mainly out of sight , so guests weren ' t bothered . With preparations starting at the beach at 5 am , doubt anyone else was up

This 'highly experienced luxury lifestyle team' appears, allegedly, to consist of a bunch of consultants - most of whom had barely heard of Aman before.
Aman, allegedly, is awash with 'consultants' hired by Mr D. So that's alright then, isn't it. They are bound to be able to surpass the octogenarian efforts of AZ. Surely?

Incompetent new team at London HQ but sure touted as ' highly experienced luxury lifestyle team ' , guess , they think they are
What a waste of $ even if he is awash with it . Destroying Aman ethos is not it & the new team , has no idea what it is anyway , so they should appreciate the experienced ones rather than be ' high & mighty ' .
The rot has set in & dread it
, history seems to be repeating itself , possibly worse this time .CHRISTmas & New Year ' s at Puri will be a defining ' moment ' .
Pray AZ & what he stands for will be appreciated . Some ' deadwood ' but many excellent management team have left or are .
Good thing is many GMs are true Aman & will do their usual Aman best for us Amanjunkies & Amanjunkies to be

Going through the Aman website , the resorts rate pages are missing . Have they gone through the roof ? !! ?

Two weeks before opening, still literally no sign of the Aman Tokyo (it remains covered in black masking tape)

As with bearbrick .. Sure hope not !
But with " Aman " inexperienced bunch in London HQ , really need them to eat humble pie & heed seasoned team , whoever is left .
Not messing with individual Amans will be a good start .
Go look at pavilions / villas , from there you can check rates

Rates are still there but you need to go first to look at the suites/rooms and from there to rates. It was different before, you could see rates directly.

they continue to add new low seasons, and have even reduced some low season rates
