FWIW in my research, the best price (2 years running) was through bookit.com. They have deals where you buy a 3 day pass and get 2 days free. Makes the per day price well worth the difference over Orlando Attractions, CAA/AAA, or even anything I've seen though Mouse Savers or All Ears.
In addition, they have the buy 3 get 5 on. Which is supposed to save $20, but they add the booking fee and it cost $30 more than Disney World direct.
Am I missing something here?

Called book it and they have a booking fee on their tickets. Basically for a 7 day ticket, it cost $30 more than Disney World direct.

Usually go with Orlando Attractions and get the UK ticket. We were just there for Spring Break. I guess it would have been cheaper to buy everyone an annual pass back in April. I didn't think we were returning to Orlando for Christmas, but with the kids attending different schools, spring break was shot and Christmas Break was the only vacation that would work for both of the kids.

Or use a DVC owner discount for $100 off an AP.
I have an unused voucher from years ago which I still haven't turned in for an actual AP, but it seems to be hundreds of dollars cheaper than the current price.
(The best price now on Disney tickets still seems to be the DLRP AP for locals with parrainage and one year free, which I think cost me less than €100 for two years of admission)
And before anyone asks, the AP voucher isn't transferable. I wish that it was; I still haven't asked if I can get a refund for it, but I would prefer to use that money for hot theatre tickets.

I'll definitely checkout Expedia, and start researching sources.. In the past I purchased UK tickets off of Orlando Attractions, and has worked great. We always got 21 day tickets for the price of $8 more than the 10 day water park fun and more/hopper.. Makes the average out to about $20 per day pp

I'm not a DVC member, so I won't be getting any discounts. So what is the best rate for a regular Joe? I should check what I actually paid, but I'm sure it was 160 euros last year.

So? DVC members don't get any discounts at DLRP; if anything they have to pay more than other guests.
I seem to recall that I did a very detailed explanation of the best way to make use of the various offers for the anniversary, seasonal and local offers, and discount brokers last year. I'm not about to do the research all over again but it's easier to get cheap entry into DLRP than the US or Asian parks, with very little effort.

But I seem to recall I was on this thread to ask about Disney World, and could care less about DLRP right now. So you got something to add about obtaining a good cheap ticket at Disney World for Christmas Break?

The reason why there are so few answers on this thread is that there are very few legitimate ways to get a discount on WDW tickets. We've listed most of them, such as
Disney doesn't need to give further discounts for the most part at WDW, and has managed to close most of the scams people were using and things like the late entry, convention, and YES tickets.
The best advice I can give you is to take the legitimate advice given by FTers. The suggestion which I once gave you would have saved you hundreds this year alone at WDW, DL, and Aulani, based on what you have posted about your travel patterns.
- Undercover Tourist
- Expedia at times
- DVC member discount
- employee benefit programs (can be variable)

Might not be perfect, but I'm considering the uk 14 day ticket. We usually do the 21 day but we'll be at coconut point for 5 nights and 3 nights at the GHT.
Orlando doesn't have a city pass so no luck there. What do you think you guys think of the universal/Disney world combo offered Orlando Attractions?
I know about the under cover tourist and I receive the mouse savers monthly. I don't think I could save anymore than I could at Disney Aulani and Disney a World. I'm not convinced that I could have saved anymore on Disneyland, Disney World and Aulani this year.

Our best selling ticket, exclusive to UK guests
Once demand increased, they strictly enforced the terms of the geographical tickets. They may do the same at WDW, especially as they have already limited most of their other targetted offers.
If anyone IS considering that route, I would only purchase very close to departure to avoid a change in enforcement of Disney's policy. It has happened in past and could well happen again with this product.

The advice I gave you isn't one size fits all; for instance, knowing Will's travel patterns generally for the last decade or so, I wouldn't have made the same suggestions to him. (I wouldn't suggest it to Lewis either, as I know that he has other travel habits) My suggestion to you was tailor made to your somewhat 'unique' travel patterns for FT, and what you have posted will be the pattern for some years to come.
