does leasehold expiration seems odd? 1988-2023 = 35 years

Aman Lijiang just completed their fist mock room and waiting for second one now. You may found the design is very similar to Amanfayun. They may opening in mid-2013.

They do have bathtub in the guest room now, which is really good news.
Amanfayun only provides in SPA. Aman Lijiang and Amanfayun are same owner from Mainland.

The Kona design, for example, makes use of Ando's penchant for planes of exposed concrete and a topographically sensitive foundation.
somehow missed that earlier

renderings?

Amazing! Tadao Ando (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tadao_Ando) is in fact one of the best and most innovative three architects worldwide. His buildings (hotel and museums) on Naoshima Island, Japan, are absolutely breathtaking, as well as his buildings in Tokyo and in Germany.

I would really love to see GHMs or even some Amans designed by him!

Katerina Katopis, the company’s sales and marketing director, offered a glimpse of the Porto Heli Collection, a luxury resort and villa project developed in partnership with Amanresorts, which is expected to open its doors in the Peloponnese in June.

1. Naoshima was the brainchild of the Japanese publishing magnate who owns Benesse. It was a bit of a labour of love, so not easy to repeat. It is a spectacular place.

2. Awaji is a bit of a different kettle of fish - he basically was architect for a redesign of much of the island, and the project included a hotel. So, he is not really in the business of doing hotels, to my knowledge.

3. There is always the new Ando fountain outside the Connaught in London.
