Worth noting for ex-M&M's is that Aegean is the ONLY FFL program in *A that ISN'T listed if you want to change your FFP on your M&M profile for mileage credit online.

I've sent an email through the M&M site today. What I'm trying to do obviously is change my profile from M&M mileage credit to M&P before flying. Economy routes will be as follows:

LX GVA-LHR (E), LHR-GVA (P) on BMI metal
LH ZRH-FRA-DUB (E), DUB-FRA-ZRH (S) on LH metal
LH ZRH-FRA-DUB (E), DUB-FRA-ZRH (L) on LH metal

Classes in brackets, no executive status any longer. (Shoulda taken the cash offer to keep my SEN status at the time )
dont you get a soft landing to FTL when losing SEN?!?! afaik you do, so you should be FTL now, which would help you alot more than A3*S on LH/LX routes

Also on those routes you wouldnt earn any miles on A3: http://en.aegeanair.com/milesandbonu...les/#LUFTHANSA
E & L doesnt earn any miles at all on A3

I've started to collect on A3 with my first flight put into their program just today as I'll never make SEN on M&M and won't have to requalify for FTL this year. *G here I come

Good thing is, even the ultra-cheapo fares that only give 125miles on LX give 500 miles on A3

I enrolled in February, do I have time till December to collect 19k (with 1k "free") to make *G or how does it count?

Hey Mick,

have you received any answer? I was up to do the exact same thing as you, changing from my Miles&More number the Miles&Points number for an existing Economy Class booking, however.
M&P did not show up in the list of program....

Edit: I now also wrote an E-Mail to M&M asking, what I need to do, to get the miles credited towards Aegean.

Well, it took them only a month to reply

Apparently it was a mistake on their site and you do get the actual miles for intercontinental flights. This looks promising...

I have US Air flights that are not posting. Has anyone else had this experience and beside putting info in on the site, did you have to do anything else and how long did it take?

I did some SQ flights and these posted within 48 hours, however a BMI flight has not posted 5 days later - so have claimed for this online.

Regarding the cards - they do take a while to arrive - 1.5-2 months. Maybe they only do a print run every month or so.

Missing miles from Swiss flights already claimed according to Aegean...

I flew from VIE via ZHR to ORD for Christmas on LX. I wanted to credit both ways to my Aegean Miles and Bonus account since I am close to Gold with them. The return trip was credited no problem, but the way there has not. I finally got through to someone at Aegean, and after more waiting, he told me that Swiss says they were credited already.
Now I do have a lot of Star Alliance cards (United and Continental because of all the CCard miles bonuses, Miles and More because I am now based in Vienna, and Miles and Bonus because I want Gold fast).
However, the miles do not show up on any of my Star Alliance accounts. There seems to have been a mistake somewhere.
Swiss or M&M have been unable to tell me whether these miles have been credited. THey tell me to try to claim them online. I have not tried to claim them with another airline than Aegean, because I really want them on that account only - I am really close to Gold.

How do I find out where these miles have been credited since they don't show up anywhere?

I have tried calling repeatedly, but no one from Swiss or Miles and More or Aegean Miles and Bonus has been able to answer this. They all point me to call the people I just talked to.

Thanks for any ideas!

Is there any RDM bonus for Blue or Gold levels on A3?

I'm contemplating putting 20k miles into A3 for up to three (!) years of *G lounge access. Assuming I don't get any RDM bonus at any point, I'd be giving up about 20k RDMs (worth roughly $200 to me).

An RCC membership is $400/yr for a 1P and I'd need roughly 2-ish years worth of membership, so I'd still be saving about $600.

Hm, ok. It seems like the best use for A3 is long haul premium fares, no?

Well the best use for A3 is getting *G easily. Everything else is secondary.
