who to contact with missing rental credit?
I rented a car with Hertz and used the codes for double rapid credits.
However, I just got half credit instead of the expected one full credit. i am wondering if I should contact Southwest or Hertz for that.
Thanks.

Why are you continually telling people to contact the rental car companies??
IT DOESNT WORK. PERIOD.
Contact customer relations (214-792-4223) and ask them to perform a partner inquiry. They'll ask you to fax a copy of your rental record.
These days (going on 18 months) it's impossible to get through to Dallas. Try faxing them (214-792-5099) your request. Include your name, RR #, and phone number.
Good luck.
edit: not mods plural, just curb

Ya, same here... offering credit bonuses is great, but I've noticed Budget and Avis are horrible at actually posting that credit.
Alamo used to be really bad, but over the last year they've really changed and I've had no issues.

Thanks a lot, guys. Calling them is always a hussle.
So, similarly, I registered Hyatt promotion for 1.5 credits a night, and eventually only got 0.5 credit. i guess i should contact southwest too.

Two Avis rental in a row with the 5X promo (K024743) and only 0.5 credits post. Frustrating.... Be curious to hear if anyone is seeing this promo post correctly, or if additional bonus credits were delayed in their posting......

Make sure K0247043 is on your Rental Agreement. If so, fax to customer relations like I stated above and you'll receive your credit. I've had to fax customer relations 4 out of 5 Avis 5x rentals. Very frustrating.

Please mention AWD number K024743 and provide Rapid Rewards account number at time of rental or check in to receive bonus credits.

It is wonderful to read prospective solutions. In my experience (with Budget, especially) the car agencies will only push so far, and the receiving airline program - not just Southwest - simply cannot see what they say hasn't reached them from the car agency. The better the leverage of the partner promotion, the looser the connections become (as we FTers overwhelm them, it would seem). I often used to say, in response to this type of thread, "Never the twain shall meet". But after looong experience, I now say that it can take two years. It has.
