A longer all-F run round Asia would be to go to CGK instead of BKK: HKG-CGK-HKG-NRT-SIN
Looks most interesting, Mileage monkey has HKG-CGK as 2-class though, is this incorrect?

This gets you to DEN (where you wanted to go) as well as LON and BKK and has more miles / SCs than your current plan.
Another good suggestion , thanks, but I assume LAX-MIA / MIA-JFK is 2 class 757/ 767? So the compromise would be to lose the DFW-ORD international F?

It is incorrect. CX flies 3-class about 3-4 days a week (often Thurs-Sun) at the moment, but it does seem to be quite variable week to week and subject to changes of equipment.

Trying to fly F on CX in Asia at the moment is basically a lottery, which annoys me no end when I've paid my own money for an F seat.

Have you considered Delhi

JAL fly to Delhi I think three days a week and offer first class also it is just over 3600 miles so just like Jakarta would earn you 180 status credits in first so if it interested you the following could work

jfk-hkg-nrt-del-nrt-sin-syd

so for Asia you would earn 630 status credits

That's correct. But then again, an international config for 800 miles doesn't really make a difference when you have so many nice F sectors in this itinerary.
Obviously you need to compromise between maximising SCs and going to places you actually want to go to. Had the same issue this year when I got 2100 SCs out of a DONE4 in just under two weeks.

Looking good so far. Added BKK as we fancy a trip there too.
I'm interested in a similar routing next year. How much did this cost you?
