Can one make PC bookings for use by friends/family
I've gone to the master thread, and gone to PC's website, but I cannot ascertain whether a member can use his points (or free nights earned in the current stay 2 get one promotion) for other individuals.
I'm not currently a member, but I'd love to earn some free nights for my folks to use.

Yes. When you are booking a 'Rewards Night' online, there is a field where you can specify additional guests.
I booked a stay for my parents recently in Miami and added one of their names to this field. For good measure l also emailed the hotel with the confirmantion number and let me know.

Please make sure the hotel has the 2nd party listed as a share-with and not just an accompany guest. When you add a 2nd party, Holidex defaults it to accompany, so call the hotel BEFORE you arrive and have them change it to a share-with.
