Auto Notification Link reads new.flyertalk
http://new.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...3&goto=newpost
which then asks for user name and password. When entered it does not let one enter the site.
close the request box and one gets this.
"Authorization Required

Fortunately, one can still get to the thread by using the long away around by signing into www.flyertalk.com and going to the correct thread.

If you change the new.flyertalk.com to www.flyertalk.com and you'll get to the thread. We'll look into this ASAP.

This is the link in the email? new.flyertalk.com is the staging server where we loaded the backup. It's possible that the that server is sending out it's own emails.

changing it is not a simple as you imply because it is a clickable link not easily copied, pasted and edited.
Sorry but you guys are starting to remind me of the U.S. Passport Office site that has been down for routine maintenance since early March.

Visible/Invisible mode problem still exists. Or perhaps it's no longer a problem if it is a deliberate change. (I know we can opt not to log in.)
Also, since IB-Dick invited all contemporaneous issues, perhaps this happened in the last couple of days: While I've always been down for viewing all posts in a thread (or threads on a board?), I was auto-switched to one year. I discovered this when I went back in to try to go invisible again, and saw this change, too. I say "perhaps" because it could have happened anytime recently. But not by my hand.

I didn’t notice anything funny about my post count until today. A bunch of threads I posted in must have been moved to OMNI overnight, LOL.

Yeah, me either. I didn't realize know that. So I'm sure tech supports will have fixing more quality time to have restoring back to normal system. He will let you know soon as possible until the post count will be back to normal. So please be patient for while.
