I have a reservation there for April.
Thanks, I searched and didn't find this. ^ Any chance you want to move your reservation to early March?

Sorry, not giving up my existing 2 award seats in F on NH and OZ (of my TG F departure from BKK or UA and LH F segments on short tag flights).

Has anyone managed to get an email reply from the property?

I contacted them at lemeridien.chiangrai -at- lemeridien.com a bit over a week ago, nothing. I forwarded the email and asked for a reply, stll nothing.

Doesn't give me confidence in thier service in advance of staying there.

Thanks much, I've sent my e-mail for a 3rd time, will let you know what happens!

Perhaps I'm asking for too many things in my email at once (airport transfer, spa menu, etc)

Wow, you're good. I already heard back from them. It appears they tried to email me earlier but had some glitches/confusion. From the email chain they forwarded to me it look slike my questions got passed around to various folks, and somehow when they went to email me back my e-mail address got mangled.

Appreciate your help!
Gary

Kid-friendly? (ages 7/10)
Hi yosi, I just popped by the resort for a quick look when I was in Chiang Rai and had a show around. Not sure where the Elephant Polo's pitch is but if it is near Anantara (I heard that they are hosting the event) then it should be roughly 45 minutes away by car.

Pretty easy to get around by car I would say as road conditions are good around the area though you will need to figure out how to find your way to the resort as it is pretty well hidden. Saw some road signage along the way so that should help you.

As for kid friendly, it should be decent as it has a kid's club or penguin club if I remember the name correctly that can occupy their time with DVDs and Playstation consoles. Nice pool area and 24 hours gym with some daily activities and I particularly loved the deck chairs by the river.

Will definitely try to resort when I am in Chiang Rai next but it certainly looks worth staying from my brief show-around. Tell me about your stay when you get back.

Btw, their airport transfer info is as follows
- Transfer from airport to hotel one-way Charge is 600 baht Sedan Car .seat available 3 person including luggage .

- Transfer roundtrip Charge is 1,000 baht special price sedan Car. Seat available 3 person including luggage .

- Transfer one way Charge is 840 baht hotel Van. Seat available 7 person including luggage .

- Transfer Roundtrip Charge 1,440 baht hotel Van seat available 7 person including luggage .
THB1000 roundtrip seems quite reasonable to me for hotel car.
