What's with the Ugly Strip down the side. It's like something out of the 70s or 80s.

Horrible. Frankly, I can't picture the the new tail and the current all white body. Let's hope they creative in the paint booth.....yuk.

Now that I think about it, maybe the old and dated Livery is designed to match of extremely dated Y Cabin on the 744!

Yes I agree very good first post! I still think it is ugly as hell though. I think it is the vividly graphic tail and a bland fuselage.

It could also be the familiarity of seeing that distinctive silhouette equipped with a red tail for 38 years and now being subjected to a "widgeted" version of it.

There are multiple appearances of DTW in the video, filmed in the current Delta gate area (B18-B20) of the terminal.

I can't remember where I got this, but I got sent a link of what the 744 will look like in Delta colors. It surprisingly doesn't look so bad, IMO.

Not that bad once you remove the double line running the length of the plane. Much better than the initial picture anyways. Wouldn't it nice if they kept the winglets red?
