If you are OWE, I would strongly advise not transferring airside. Clearing security in the T5 First Wing is so much easier than using the T5 Flight Connection Center.

I'll second the recommendation for the Qantas lounge. Large tables, several near outlets. Not too crowded outside of Qantas departure times. Decent food and drink selection.

Personally, I don't like having less than 4 hours...

Personally, I don't like having less than 4 hours to connect at LHR, even a T3 to T3 connection. Too many opportunities for things to go awry and it is easy to make airport time into productive time.
