First Class redemption
Hi,
I was having a look at the chart to book a trip to South Africa for my parents; when I checked last week I found a .pdf file saying that you needed 140 000 points for one return redemption in F. Checking SAS today I find that they have swapped the .pdf file for a flash chart saying you now need 180 000 miles for a return ticket. I can also find a regular file saying it is now 180 000.
I would assume this is correct but surely the "price" has not gone up that much? Does anyone now whether this is correct or if these are not changes which have not gone through yet?
Also, does SAS allow a mixed redemption at a mixed price, e.g C+F?
Regards,
Eric

You can mix classes on *A flights but you will be charged for the most expensive class. So this is a no-brainer unless you need to travel on specific dates.

Thanks, that is what I feared. My naive hope just thought maybe for once the SAS website was too up-to-date. I guess either my father will have to come up with more miles or I will need to make one booking for them.

I tried to book a redemption ticket in F from BKK/SIN- NRT but the SK agent told me that it was not possible, without giving me any reason. SK`s web page redemption chart says that it is possible and that it should cost 60000 points... But the same page also list AC as a carrier offering First class
