Online check-in - how does it work?
Hi!
I just tried the checking in online for the first time. It worked, I think, at least I got a page that I could print - it says that I should just show up at the gate 20 minutes prior to dep. (Danish domestic). It say's BN3 under the flight number - is this my seat assignment, or should I request a seat at the gate?
Best regards, Rasmus Nielsen.

Most often you are able to select seat after having entered your name and e-ticket ID number (or ticket number).
There is a link to "Select Seat" on the page that shows flight details etc before you click on the Check in button.
Otherwise you are automatically designated a seat if there are pre-assigned seats on this flight.
The BN3 is simly the sequence number - i.e. you are number 3 to have checked in on this particular flight.
The seat is usually also shown on your printout together with the flight details.
It is always possible to enter the check in online again and then you will be informed that you are fully checked in and that you can either cancel the check in or select another seat. The seat map will then be pulled up.

No, BN3 is your sequence number (i.e. you were the third passenger checked in to your flight.). You should've seen the seat map when you performed the checkin and allowed to select your seat. If you didn't, something fishy was going on. Do you actually get assigned seating on Danish domestic flights?
Anyway, just go to the gate (if security gives you any trouble about a missing boarding pass, just show your printed confirmation) and tell them that you checked in online and they will print your boarding pass(es) to you. They'll probably want to see either your Eurobonus card or the confirmation.
Have fun.
