how to get 100 basic points?

I'm now 100 points off my gold card, and I'm looking for ideas on how to get above the limit with as little work and expenditure as possible.... any ideas?

I would call SAS and ask for a upgrade without those 100 points. Two years ago I was 700 points short for the 35k Silver card, called SAS and said that I was not able to get those last points in time. They upgraded me and welcomed me at another year as Silver... no gaurantee that this works but always worth a try

Try giving SAS a call... 100 points shouldn't be too hard to negotiate with them to actually be upgraded to Gold without the need to earn the points!
I've heard many people with just a few hundred points away from earning Gold that have received their Gold anyway. This only works if your qualifying period ends soon though... If you still have time, then I guess you'll have to wait until you're closer to the end date...
But if it's 31MAY, I guess you should be fine! Worth a try anyway!

Good luck!

I'll give them a see what happens. In case it doesn't go through that way, I've made a booking at a Radisson hotel. It's 200 meters from my home...

I quick call to SAS and talked to a charming lady, whilst expending some of my own charm, and before you know it, I'm a gold member. Charming. Thanks for all advice

PS: I'm keeping the night at the Radisson here, might as well combine it with a night on town and not having to worry about having too far to walk home
