The Matter of Upgrades
This I can read on WebFlyer Head2Head about SAS EuroBonus.
Pros: Gold Members receive upgrades to economy plus on the Airbus 340 ( so far SAS has five 340´s operating on the Asian routes.)
Please inform me if this is standard. Do SAS confirm a economy plus seat,if I´m paying economyfare.
Anyone who knows?

I'm EBG and on a recent flight ARN-CPH-BKK I had an economy class ticket (not Y class) but no seat allocation.
At check-in at ARN I was given my boading pass for CPH-BKK. I received a seat in the second last row of the A340, It was not even a window or an aisle.
So much for automatic upgrades to economy extra.
I asked to use my points to upgrade and eventually did get a business class seat.

Well, I know it must be terrible, not to be upgraded, being Gold...but at my last BKK-CPH flight I was "upgraded" to Economy+, just asking and with a smile. Sad to tell you I am only Basic Member :-) That is why I think Eurobonus is a great FFP for pleasure travel, *Smiling*
