SAS Announces Washington-Copenhagen Service
SAS will introduce its Copenhagen-Washington DC service in May as the first step in the expansion of SAS' intercontinental operations. Initially, there will be five departures per week, but by the end of June, SAS will be able to offer six to seven flights.

You just beat me on this one doc. I was just going to post it. As far as I can see the flight will be leaving CPH 10.40 and arrives in IAD at 13.20

For the moment it looks they will operate with a Boeing 767-200/300

I believe that the first new Airbus long haul aircraft will go on the Copenhagen to Delhi route. This will free up a 767 for other uses. At present there are 5 flights a week to Delhi. Initially there will be five flights a week to Washington. So it's a good bet that this is what's going to happen.

Rumour has it they may also be wet leasing a newly delivered A330-200 from British Midland.
