For members in Sweden its 100.000 basic points or 50 SK C class flights for Gold and 35.000 basic points for Silver. I know that those levels are lower for members from UK but I dont know them exactly though I will try to look it up.

If that's the case it's hardly very generous.
I'm using Eurobonus as my Star Alliance card (although I'm also a British Midland member) mainly becuase I was at one time able to transfer points from AMex.
Now that's no longer an option, I'm wondering weather I used ditch Eurobonus after my next award.

The levels a couple of years ago for Europe (except Sweden , Norway and probably all the Nordic countries) used to be 20000 points for Silver and 50000 for Gold. The Nordics needed 30000 for Silver and 90000 for Gold.
The levels for the Nordics were increased to 35000 for Silver and 100000 for Gold, so my guess would be that for the rest of Europe it's now 25000 for Silver and 55000 for Gold.
But it's a guess. On your statements it should be shown how many points you need to attain the next status level.
Or simply call EuroBonus in the UK and let us know!

I confirm
I am registered in France and currently silver with 25000 reached last year.
Gold for 55000. When you see it's 100 000 for Swedish menbers, it's worth having a good friend abroad ....I wonder as well if it's legal that kind of consumer discrimination ???
