Mileage run plan 24MAY-26MAY

booked LHR-ZRH-LHR LX in J, that's 1200 * 2 = 2400;
two nights at Park Inn, that's 600 * 2 = 1200;

so - 3600

total cost - under GBP500

Don't Park Inn give 300 points per night?

3000 (or 3600 EB points) for GBP500 is not that good but you probably get a nice weekend in ZRH.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible to book the nice Business discounted on JK anymore? Doesn't seem to be possible from the Danish site anyway. It really was a great way to get to Spain ...

You do not have the Avant-option any more, where you pay a little extra and book through economy. But you can always book their business class products directly given there is availability and a published fare. Any TA and a limited number of web sites will be able to do that. And yes, Spanair business class is still worth the money

CPH-MAD (either direct or via BCN to maximize your miles) is currently bookable in J-class (JFLEXRT 4110 DKK). You can't book via BCN on Spanair's site (nor Widerųe, SAS or Austrian), but on Expedia.com it was piece of cake to make the booking, and with a booking fee of only 4 USD.

CPH-BCN is about twice as expensive for some unknown reason. (JFLEXRT 8200 DKK).

JK also has a JFLEXRT on ARN-MAD for 4080 SEK + tax. Not as good as the old Z-fares, but still pretty decent value.

That's cheap compared to ARN-BCN in JFLEXRT: SEK12060 + tax.

IB's business fare (IRTEUIB) ARN-MAD-BCN is SEK3820 + tax...

And if you can spend the night in MAD you can create a routing like ARN-CPH-BCN-MAD // MAD-BCN-CPH-ARN where ARN-CPH-ARN must be on SK numbers to give you 1500+2200+1200 EB points each way (assuming EBG). 9800 points for about SEK4800 (inkl tax).

Note that you will not get any points if you book the SK operated segments on JK numbers.

That doesn´t stops to amaze me. Are you 100% positive that is really the case? What kind of a weird alliance is this then. Both airlines fully owned by SAS and both full members of *A...

.
JFLEXRT ARN-TFN via CPH and MAD/BCN is SEK 6.700:-. Not like it used to be with the ZWEB but good still. I guess J will actually give you "real" Business Class for the MAD-TFN segments with blocked middle seat.

Routing rules:

STO-TCI TUE-20MAY08 JK
TAXES/FEES NOT INCLUDED
ADULT FARES
CX FARE FARE C AP MIN/ SEASONS...... MR GI DT
SEK BASIS MAX

As I read it you could travel with SK CPH-BCN in Business Class on this fare?

Yes. Unfortunately I cannot refer to the page telling this as we have been thrown out - but it was mentioned very clear than no code shares on JK flight numbers gives EB points.
