Luxembourg seems to be a hot destination. Several daily flights from CPH and now also ARN. Maybe one should try to go there and see the country...

Interesting to see Skyways starting up international flights again, other than Sweden-CPH of course.
They used to have flights to e.g. DUB and MAN a few years ago.

It's a pretty nice country and city. The surroundings are just beautiful, quite green and mountainous. Feels a bit like southern Germany but with strong French influences.
Well worth a visit if you ask me.

I've travelled to LUX a couple of times - a few years ago Luxair had a direct flight ARN-LUX but they cancelled that route. Luxair aslo had, just until this year, 2-3 daily flights CPH-LUX but they have cancelled that route as well. Because of Luxair's withdrawal from the Scandinavian market, the route CPH-LUX have become heavliy booked and every time I've travelled from LUX-CPH on the afternoon departure around 5 pm, people have been bumped. Every time!

So I think it's a very smart move of Skyways to open this route. They wont have any problems filling their planes (which by the way will be a SAAB 2000 according to Amadeus).

Didn't know that Luxair had stepped away from that route. Interesting!

This was unfortunately not long-lived. Skyways has decided not to resume the LUX flights after the summer break according to

http://www.flygnyheter.se/2008/07/15...ner-luxemburg/

Strange that there is not enough market for a direct line ARN-LUX...

Yep, when i first moved to Vasteras i used to fly ARN-MAN using skyways on the little Embraers, but when they dumped that flight i had to start flying the Vasteras-CPH-MAN route on the Saab 340, but then they dumped that as well and SAS started the ARN-MAN route.
