And don't forget, until you have the actual piece of plastic, you will may difficulty getting into some non SAS lounges - e.g. in London LH will (with a sigh) phone SAS. In Munich... they just won't both helping at all!
If you are planning on travel soon on a Y ticket, get member services to email/post you a letter confirming status. And have the local country reservations office number handy when trying to get into lounges!

Now its 3 weeks since I qualified for EBG, but I still havent received the card. What hurts most is that my wife qualified for EBS at the same time, and she got her card one week ago.
Whats wrong with SAS???
In internet it was only 4 days before I was upgraded to EBG. So a printout of the statement on internett have done the job already instead of the card.
I hope I get surprised when I open my postkasse today!!!
