Q on the website

Have a few Q on the website:

1. When a click on the staralliance link to SAS news nothing in english comes up. Is there a link on the website for english news?

2. Has anyone outside Europe been able to buy affordable flights from their website and if so did it offer miles, if it did not did the website say anything to that effect?

3. Does SAS fly to India or plan to ?

Thanks.

1. Go to scandinavian.net and choose a english speaking country, e.g. the US. You will get everything in english that way.

2. Intra European routes typically have greater availability in the lower booking classes when purchased for instance from the US site. Lower booking class equals less mile of course.

3. No.

PS. If you plan to go US-Europe try a UA codeshare - same seat usually cheaper with the same booking class.

2. It will tell you how many miles you earn on SK and the same (roughly) will apply on UA. The low booking classes earn 25%.

The Austrian website tells you the booking class, etc. with the advanced feature. I would use that site instead. Watch out for W and below, which includes K and L. The latter are common cheap booking classes.
