EBS to EBG

EBS to EBG
Apologies for what may seem like a stupied question........however I will go ahead anyway. I currently have EBS with approx 31,000 miles earned on flights from UK to Scandinavia. My EB account is registered in the UK and I understand that I need to get to 45,000 points to get to EBG. Am I right in thinking that the 45,000 is not in addition to the 20,000 required for EBS, but in effect means 20,000 at EBS plus 25,000 extra to reach EBG.

Thats correct. You totally need 45k to reach the EuroBonus Gold membership level
