Exit row seating

What's the deal with reserving an exit row seat on SK? I'm currently booked on EWR-CPH and ARN-EWR (with a few SK/KF regional flights in between) during the middle of March, and the coach cabin is filling up rather quickly. I currently don't have *A status, but can I call SK reservations and try to reserve an exit row seat for the intercontinental segments? Or do they only reserve exit row seats at check-in or are they generally reserved for *A elite members?

Just call reservation and see if you can get exit seat. I don't think you have to be G with *A to ask for exit seatting.

That is true. I booked 31A for the July 20 ORD-ARN flight last week, although I'll probably switch to 22C/F for a little more peace and quiet.
