Registration of missing points
First of all, happy easter to all of you.
I wonder if anybody has any experience of retro-registration of missing points?
In the end February I flew from Germany to the US on Lufthansa. For an unknown reason the points were never credited to my accont even though I presented my EB-card upon check-in.
About three weeks after the flight I realised they would most likely never appear so I sent my boarding pass and the flight coupon to the retro-registration address in Stockholm to claim my missing points.
It's been more than three weeks now and nothing has happened...
Does anyone know how long it normally takes for missing points to get registered?
Fortunately I still have the original flight coupon and a copy of the boarding pass in case Royal Mail (UK postal service) messed it up.
Wouldn't like to miss points for a transatlantic flight (should be around 5000).
Last time I did this was about two years ago and at that time I took only a week or so.

I've only had to do this once last summer, and in my case it took around 6-7 weeks from the day I dropped the letter in the mailbox. Not exactly fast, so I suggest you give it another 3 weeks before contacting SAS.

I have claimed missing points recently by mailing the boarding pass and a copy of the flight ticket to SK. I think it took around two or three weeks to register possibly more. So you should probably wait at least another week before you start getting worried.

SAS are sending the claims to Bangkok to be processed - takes 6 - 8 weeks.
I have had many problems with SAS not registering points correctly. It is most fustrating.

If your flight is on SK metal you can claim missing points online at www.scandinavian.net as well. All you need is your ticket number which starts with 117 etc.

I've done it twice. First time it took like five weeks or something. Second time it was about a rental car, and after five weeks had passed I called EB. They asked Bangkok what was wrong and the next day I had the points.

Thanks
I guess the points will be registered pretty soon then.
I was just surprised it took such a long time, last time it took only 1-2 weeks but as far as I remember I sent it to Sveg (in northern Sweden) that time.
Apparently that was too expensive for SAS so they use outsourcing to Bangkok now instead.
BTW, managed to receive a complimentary upgrade on SAS this Saturday from LHR to ARN. I had actually ordered an upgrade-voucher which I used but five minutes after I arrived at the gate (and technically boarded the flight) a gate agent came and gave it back to me, hence I still have it and can use it again. No idea why they did that but it was a really good start of the easter.
Thanks SAS!!!
