SAS Plus Pro Codeshare on TK
For IST-CPH one way I found that I can book a "business class" ticket using SAS for a better price than directly on TK. But is it actually business class or just an expensive refundable economy ticket? It's SAS Plus Pro but a dummy booking does not show seatmap or provide any hints until it wants to collect payment.

SAS Plus Pro usually books into Business Class with the respective codeshare airline. I don't fly TK but recent experiences with LX, A3 and SN put me in their actual Business Class cabin. The irony of this of course being that SAS Plus Pro is a better product when the operating carrier isn't SAS.

Thanks for your responses. I did check ARN-FRA, which is operated by LH and you get the same with one GO option and SAS Plus Pro. There you get a seatmap so it's 100% clear that SAS PP is business. Danielstrandby, I did not see any indication of booking class prior to purchase. (Why can't they show a simple thing like that?) This also made me wonder what happens to the FRA traffic in September....... I guess SAS will have to start flying there but will be quite limited. Will flights to CDG and AMS become AF/KL only, I wonder?
It's interesting that this "discounted" business is refundable whereas with TK you have to pay a small upcharge to make it refundable and the ticket is about 40% more expensive. Also, on the following day there is no availability in SAS Plus Pro for IST-CPH. So the SAS codeshare in business is just this cheaper fare or nothing, it seems. On TK the pricing is uniform for all these flights; they have 4 per day. Also, one flight is completely omitted as a codeshare via SAS.

Ok, thanks/ I missed that. You actually get the same pop-up as a link to a SAS Plus Pro icon after entering traveller details at the next stage but not including the booking class. Only the very important info about how many drinks you can get on a flight to Malaga...... Hilariously Swedish.
So I booked the ticket (they only seem to have 4 of these for sale on each flight) and it assigned seats in rows 1 and 2. But of course SAS does not give me the PNR for TK so I can't access the reservation on that site to change seats. I wonder if SAS' dingbat agents can find it for me?
