Lightbulb Does SAS block First Class awards?

Hi guys,
Just wanted to share my experience in trying to book first class seats using SAS miles. Before I called in I did some due diligence and went to AC and UA to check availability - both showed 2 F seats on LH from JFK to MUC. I then called SAS over a span of 2 days and both agents couldn't see any F seats. Does SAS block first class award space, because whenever I call in, I am hearing the same answer "sorry there are no first class seats on your flight".

What's your experience?

Since SAS doesn't have first-class cabins, could this have caused issues with agents seeing availability in F only? Could they see availability in J?

Different airlines have different availability to First award inventory. I guess it comes down to willingness for them to pay for F awards. Historically when looking at United there has to be F-saver award inventory available in order for SAS to see it. Did you see F-saver award, or just any ordinary award seat?
